Present day Belgrade. The owner of the private security company, former criminal Limun is a war veteran and prepossessed homophobe. His fiancée Pearl is in the middle of the wedding preparations, she works with the openly gay wedding planner Mirko. Frustrated by Lumin’s anti-homosexual verbal abuse, Mirko wants to quit the job. Pearl gives Lumin an ultimatum: Mirko has to stay, and she will pronounce “yes” only when Lumin’s security company will agree to protect the gay pride parade organised by Mirko and his partner. The planning of the parade is exposed to massive hostility and it is crucial to protect the crowd. Reluctantly, Limun finally agrees and, together with the same-sex couple, begins to fight for the rights of homosexuals in Belgrade.
Purposely politically incorrect, this profound situation comedy turns every stereotype on its head.
